Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Maybe they don't know after all?

They dont need a poll. I think the higher ups in this company know pretty well that no one in retail is happy working for them right now. They dont care. They never cared.

Someone wrote this and it would be expected that those at the top even without any polls know how dissatisfied their employees are. However, sometimes I wonder, perhaps they are not aware of it after all? Maybe they don’t see it at all because of their arrogance and think we should be grateful to have a job here at all?

@1vma+1bQGJ6TFc lol what fantasy world do you live in where indirects take better care of customers?? Even though corporate stores may bi--h and complain about stuff they’re still the best outlet for customers to actually get taken care of. Sure I’ve helped customers fix messes that corporate Verizon employees have caused every once in a while, but the amount of times I’ve had to put out a fire caused by an indirect that’s just flat out lied to someone is astronomical.

Send the clients to indirect retailers. They’ll service The clients, take better care of them AND not whine and complain on forums afterward.

Maybe they are arrogant to the facts. Maybe they dont receive thousands of emails about how we lost new lines due to system errors on a daily. Maybe they dont have a clue that reps arent trying hard anymore due to lack of motivation and developing mental issues like depression. And maybe they dont know that reps are grateful to have a job however it is hard to be grateful when they give you a broken system and expect good experiences and surveys, unreasonable quotas, and demand we sell snake oil insurance and overpriced accessories. How can anyone be happy at their job when the company they work for sets the goal post too far away on purpose so you miss your target every month and that alone allows them to justify not paying you as much.

They know and don't care. I'm 100% sure the Pulse survey is curved to make them look good, but they know.
