Don’t know how many people were offered the early out package but it was stated that 2000 accepted and they took a 111 million write down to cover it last quarter. Anyone know if this was more or less than they expected?
Saw King Kelly on MSNBC and it was painful to listen to him babble about how well the merger is going when we all know that is utter nonsense. It gave me pleasure to hear him admit that SunTruist is now the number 7 largest bank in the country. They certainly need to buy back a few billion dollars of stock as the price continues to go down.
Rubs Kelly and Billy Boy raw. They did this “historic merger” and 5 months later PNC/BBVA makes us irrelevant again.
Ha. Seeking acceptance so much and still being considered a backwoods hick operation by Wall Street.

The other day I started looking in IG01 for people I meet over the years, these were people that I found the most knowledgeable, all of them were gone. I truly don't understand how this could have happened, and I do blame Kelly King for ruining this organization.
I left about 2 months ago. It’s nice to be in a place now where everyone isn’t trying to stab you in the back. There’s only so long Kelly and Bill can lie about how wonderful the merger is going before the curtain is lifted.
It simply confirms that Suntrust has taken over as we all know the majority of institutional knowledge walking out the door are HBBT. The majority of the HSTI people in managerial roles are well, terrible. Pompous, arrogant, dishonest and terrible decision makers. HSTI “teammates” in general are the best I’ve ever seen at accomplishing nothing. Talk it to death, spin it, bi--h about it and make it someone else problem.
