I worked for Wells Fargo for 9.5 years and was layed off in December. Over 260k of us! Told the reason was because position had been eliminated! Fu-k Wells Fargo. Had great team members that weren’t valued!! Now you wanna act desperate, can’t even get cash out an ATM without the were banner In the way! If you would’ve kept what you had, you wouldn’t be desperate for new people!! It’s so sad In fact I was told by a current manager on calls they’re practically begging and being told to have Laid off employes apply! Bu-----t!! Why fall for it and then get laid off again in a few months!! DON’T EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY!! If you heard about July layoffs, PLEASE BELIEVE IT!! And they better not say a damn thing about those on unemployment!! Because we’d still be there if it wasn’t for the stupidity of the higher ups!! Fu---d up and wanna Get us back! If I got laid off after a decade of good work, I’d be drinking too.
Any large gathering of people will include a fair amount of id--ts and people who none of us would want to work along side of. Looks like WF did the right thing in letting you go. You are one of those id--ts. I have worked here for a long time and have been very happy and treated more than fairly. Maybe you should stop listening to rumors and be part of the positive instead of the negative. From where I sit, WF is doing a great job of getting rid of poor performing and negative attitude employees. Can't complain about that with any validity.
I would come back and work for Wells Fargo again. I liked the company and some of the people. I couldn't believe how lucky I was until they laid me off, but I would come back again without hesitation.
A company that hires and lays off in significant numbers at pretty much the same time is expecting a revolving door employment status. This is ominous.

Seriously, in my lifetime I've seen a lot of BS. However, I have never seen an organization with so many disgruntled current and former employees as this one. It's sad, and hard to watch. Culture is just rotten like an old bone covered with maggots.
Funny. But not accurate. They don’t pay your salary in full for months after if you’re doing that. Maybe this will make it more clear for you: Wells Fargo is announcing at every ATM “we’re hiring”! I they actually cared about their employees, and hadn’t layed so many off, they wouldn’t be so desperate for new hires!! And maybe you should try to pay more attention as the name of this is The Layoff! My response was to the person who said they heard WELLS FARGO WILL BE LAYING OFF Twice in July. Hope this helps.
