Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Done and done

I should have never taken this job! Management does nothing but lie to your face and they think you are not intelligent enough to see through the entire BS. People don’t get promoted based on merit, but rather on their connections - its freaking ridiculous! We are overworked and burned out, but the attitude of our managers are “leave if you don’t like it”. I’m so over it. Trying to find another job and it can’t be soon enough.

We had 1 PT new hire quit on day 1 and another the day before they started.... nobody worth anything wants part time work.

Had a new hire last week and he hasn’t come back yet! A week later. The few hours he was here the look on his face was priceless helping our kind non abusive customers.

Document and send to HR. If it's not written down or typed it didn't happen Don't leave without making their life difficult. Quit on the job (retire in place) and only do what is needed while documenting and recording. Don't be afraid to got to EOC or department of labor. Remember that since Verizon competes for federal contracts they are subject to higher standards.

Verizon wireless WAS a great company to work for, especially in retail before 2018, I knew some reps that were making 100k a year (gross income) however ever since Hans took over the company it has gone downhill, he started by makin us wear these prison uniforms and now we are treaded like convicts in pelican bay. Anyways I wouldn’t recommend anyone to work here now unless you want to overwork and stress out, try looking elsewhere

That's one thing that gets me is how do they expect everybody to be d-mb enough not to see straight through all the bull cr-p, if this job was presented to you on a piece of paper and you read through it you would think that you're reading the most inept way to run a business ever
