Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

JPM’s attrition strategy vs WF’s strategy

So I think if you look at JPM, they create really good exit options for the employees so you can rarely see deadwoods staying there don’t want to move. And then if you look at WF, there’s literally no exit option since the techniques and skills here are out-of-date. In that case, you of course will see a lot of deadwoods staying in the company, not willing to move and the whole company becoming less and less efficient.
Conclusion: if you want the senior people to leave, please create better exit options for them. I know the HRs are monitoring this site, so if you can see this post, please share the this thought with your boss and the upper-level management.

I agree. D-mb to put JPM up as a shining example of anything but failed management. Most of them are here now for a reason.

Another exec who thinks the failed policies at Chase is the way to go.

If you’re going to copycat, pick a successful company, for crying out loud.

But those companies care about their employees, Chuckie and Saul say. Well, there is that….
