I heard this was a date when they may do a mass layoff of the tech business systems associates? Can someone in the know confirm this or will it be 7/23?

7/13 confirmed for some displacements.
My role was cut last week and was just an analyst, yet been there for years. Bad luck with promotions (retail fraid thing, covid, you name it as excuses) and they specifically went after the role. Was me and some others on the team but I didn't check off any HR boxes. Productivity, skill, none of that mattered in the end. I've heard it's going to get real bad real soon.
There are no significant layoff waves in July. Activity resumes in August.
Not quite……
Analyst - level 1
Snr Analyst - level 2
Associate - level 3
Snr Associate - level 4
Princ Assoc - level 5
1&2 - non exempt not eligible for bonus
3-5 - exempt, eligible for bonus
Not sure why you think it makes sense to get rid of all analysts first.

@mno+1bARB8ya Tech Business Services Analysts are considered level 1 no bonus . Associates are level two . Sr is level 3.
It would make sense for them to remove analysts first.
an example of letting folks go that know how systems work, it will cone back to bite them
It is this thursday
they can both go, waste of money
SVB stated that he wants 80% of the tech jobs to be engineer, not that all non-engineer titles are eliminated.
the positions are nearly identical in the job descriptions and pay scale - no idea why both exist
SVB has continually stated that non-engineer positions in Tech are being eliminated, and that the cuts will be steady, not all at once.
That's different than tech bus services analysts, correct? :)
