I work hard like anyone else. I put in the extra work and the hours when needed on a regular basis. I’ve been doing it month after month on end. I did it whenever asked because it’s the way I was raised to put your best foot forward and to give it your best. It got back to me that I’m the laughingstock of my BU and that I’m being made fun of and I hate it. I thought there was mutual respect - but I was so wrong. Now I wonder what else I could be wrong about.

If you have names report them to the HR ethics hotline. I witnessed first hand verbal harassment from a VP to their assistant and this person should have been removed years ago for their demeaning attitude towards their direct reports. Nothing was ever done and now that person is a C level executive that everyone fears and no one likes. It makes me sick to hear if you going through this. Report them for making you uncomfortable. Something needs to be addressed.

When you slack someone else has to pick up your work. There's nothing wrong with trying to do a good job, and its admirable that even under adverse conditions you aren't dumping work on some else else.
The leaders think that anyone who remains at Xerox is a mo--n and deserves to be fired, that all the employees are just bums staying around and waiting for their exit packages and not doing much - so it’s on to cut their jobs without any regard, and fleece the corporation via bonuses & dividend to the shareholders. Keep this going until an impending merger or bankruptcy happens. Once you realize this reality you will see why your co-workers find it odd that you work hard and care.

Sorry to hear you have to put up with such childish bs. Only people who are very unhappy with themselves make fun of other people. I would make an official harrasment report to corporate security and start looking for a new place to work. These a*hoes at zerox are at the bottom. You deserve better!
