Over 55 white males who have worked here for a long time have historically been the primary target in Schart’s playbook. It’s not personal, it simply reflects the demographic which averages* the highest pay. This is age, s-x and race discrimination but Schart knows enough to balance it out by mixing in other age and ethic groups. Those selections will be performance related.
Post your picture here and we can tell you with over 90% certainty whether you will be displaced.
*actually the highest paid group are the senior management which Schart routinely brings with him in every move. They are untouchable and we all know the names.
Who's "more diverse"...and diverse in the "good" kind of way? That's the primary factor. Who's cheaper is a distant second. Who's most capable? Has the most practical experience? Brings the most value? Works the hardest? They don't care in the least.

Folks in the nosebleed section decides. They have no clue what either of you do. The bean counters just look at the numbers.
