Yes, many engineers are leaving for better opportunities. HPE is a rudderless ship right now so you can’t really blame those people for leaving. I feel fortunate that I got out while I did and I am much happier now.
Well, it would be nice to have EER program reinstated, then I can leave, but at least with something. Spent my best 25 years here.
Well, the chip shortage is still a lingering issue. You’ll likely see the differences during Q2 and Q3 earnings. This is when the company will start panicking. Pretty sure supply chain is scared to death right now. On the bright side, this chip shortage won’t last forever, likely until the end of the year...
Well, now that layoffs have toned down (afterall you're gonna need somebody left over to do the work), I'm seeing lots of folks from my group leaving voluntarily for greener pastures. Mostly as a result of our future "direction", and reluctance by management to listen to their senior engineers.
