As we all know assessment season is here! If you dont want to get PIPed this year its time to bring the big guns! Need to think outside the box! Until PIPs are over carry an old leather briefcase to work! Just like it was done in the 80s! Fill it with as many papers as possible and make sure managers see you carrying it! Take it to meetings and even to the break room areas! For those over achievers out there overfill the briefcase! This way it will be hard to close and managers will "see" all the work you do. XOM managers with "game changing" ideas want to "see" and "hear" you work. They have brilliant minds so they process information by "seeing."

I honestly believe mgmt queried the data field for mobility to establish their criteria for “em values fit”. If you want to survive but your not mobile, ensure you click the radio button for mobile but put in the comments you’re not mobile. Worked for me. I’d never move for this sc-m bucket
If someone happens to notice that your old briefcase is mostly filled with blank paper, just tell them the originals were written with disappearing ink but you were able to memorize the information before it vanished.
Dont forget badge swipes! I commented on another post how its important to go to the campus on weekends if possible. They see your badge swipes so if they spot some on the weekends it should help you out during the assessment or even if you get PIPed.
Flare points for the person willing to handcuff the briefcase to their wrist. If it is carrying proprietary information, it needs two lock points after all.
The OP was joking I'm sure and considering the circumstances it is welcomed. Amazing how brainwashed some XOM employees still are even when their management is literally playing with their lives. Apparently you're too stupid to realize that management is the sole reason that Exxon has become a disgrace in the business world, a complete embarrassment. The downfall of this company is not COVID, Exxon was in trouble at least a couple years prior and it is all the leadership's mismanagement that got us here. If anyone needs to be PIP'd or leave the company it needs to start with Darren Woods and all of his cronies. Then start replacing almost all of the company's management, get rid of most of their roles and other bloated roles and titles, and focus on the real actual work of Exxon.

Spot on! I'm looking on eBay now for a briefcase. Some fool commented that you should keep your head down and work. If doing that actually worked XOM would have continued the work from home policy. It's all about perception from the managers. Need a way to increase it to survive.
