Instead of managers having to do their jobs they need a contribution report system to do all the dirty work. The funny thing is I have already witnessed SM’s and GM’s manipulate the contribution report system. They have purposely guided most of the service/tech appointments to one rep in my store so his numbers would be really low. He hasn’t caught on to it yet but trust me that even though I’m not fond of him i’m back pocketing the evidence I have that they are setting him up to fail. It’s one thing to want to get rid of someone for obvious reasons but to be sneaky and shady about it is ridiculous.

Verizon has lost it and will have 2 union votes come make my up soon they are not aware of yet. Stay tuned.
Integrity? I watch my GM manipulate this everyday. Force customers to do in-store pickups ect...
These stories are about as far fetched as a manager wanting reps to slam high tier data plans and home protect. Oh wait i guess thats not true either. I believe the OP because over the past 20 years here at VZW ive seen worse things happen. I’m sure its an isolated incident but totally believable.
What a joke
Ape no fight ape! We are denim apes and we stand together. Not SM not SS, APE AND APE. stand strong.
And have no say whatsoever in contribution reporting... don't lay this mess at your managers feet... it belongs much higher up.. they are coping same as you... have a job to do same as you.. and have to answer to results... sounds like you have an are to grind about the managers at your location.. we didn't ask for any of the changes over the last year either slick...
We don’t pick and chose reps to go to it’s the next rep up. It’s called rotational greeting except managers stay at the door and the next rep who hasn’t been with a customer is next or if they are all with customers the first one available. Either way it’s the next rep up we don’t pick and chose the next rep.
I’ve seen this go on as well. It’s not all appointments but rather if they are looking to manipulate someone’s contribution report they pass all the garbage transactions to a specific rep. Customer walks in the door and wants to add an Apple Watch and another walks in and wants trouble shooting on their phone. The manager decides who is available and walks the transaction over to specific reps. It is a lot easier to get away with in a busy store location.
Um what? I’m a manager and what your talking about doesn’t exist we have absolutely no way of maneuvering appointments to certain reps. Go spread your lies somewhere else.
Totally Agreed
