Oracle COVID Policy?

What's Oracle's COVID policy if an employee tests positive? In this case, my employee is a remote worker

If you are really a manager, you would know this. Oracle HR "encouraged" me to take two weeks when I had Covid. Those two weeks did not count against sick time or vacation. If you are really an Oracle employee (which I doubt), you can go to your gsi time sheet entry form and see a time category "non worked hours." That is where you put your covid time.

Ok, lemme get this straight... You are either

  • a manager at Oracle, given that you are asking about "my employee", in which case you are a know–nothing useless POS of a manager, who can't even look up our Covid policies on our on benefits and HR sites and think it would somehow be helpful to come to an anonymous site about layoffs in order to educate yourself

or

  • a troll

In either case buzz off to the garbage dump where you originated

I have no idea what Oracle's COVID policy is, BUT....Think about it. If you are sick – and not just COVID – STAY HOME. Be it a common Cold the Flu, Measles, the Plague, just stay home. You don't need to be a hero and you sure don't need to spread your filthy germs all over the place. If you can do a little work at home, do it, but if you aren't up to it tasks at hand, rest. You do nobody any good if you extend your illness longer than need be because you overdid yourself. Most people recover in a few days, but.....If you are REALLY sick, spiking fever, breathing difficulties, etc, don't wait, go see your doctor or visit urgent care. Things like that can go from bad to horrible very quickly, so get medical treatment.

You should not need Oracle to say this.
