Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Redwood shores to close??

Think about it...opening of new campus in TN and moving HQ to TX? With remote option available. Already gave up lease in island parkway...Why would they keep RWS buildings in the long–term. Thoughts?

I would think that O will maintain some sort of Bay Area presence. If they get rid of anything, I think it would be Santa Clara. Sell it and lease back the few buildings they still need.

watch Larry pop some of his so he can pay for his Hawaii Island

FWIW, he gets about a billion acsh in dividends every year. Anyway, my understanding is that he paid cash for the island.

Safra is keen on popping real estate. She needs to, so she can cook the books correctly. If she works hard to buy back stock, watch Larry pop some of his so he can pay for his Hawaii Island.

I think it’s just a matter of time before oracle removes itself completely from expensive California..so yes. Redwood shores will be gone eventually too

The Sun Campus used to be a loony farm.

I've also heard parts of it are haunted. How appropriate.

Heck, Oracle's CA real estate holdings are way more valuable than any of its lousy remaining technogy. Let's go for another stock bump by selling it all and replacing it with the trash spreads in TC and TN.

The Sun Campus used to be a loony farm. It’s become that again, filled with insane folks that think Oracle has a chance of becoming a profitable cloud provider.

It’ll eventually become a derelict property for lower rung employees. Deadwood Shores.

Just like Twin Dolphins became Twin Dumpsters.

What's the status of the old Sun Campus on Network Circle in Santa Clara? The old "monastery".

Redwood shores. Buildings that look like gigantic trash cans. Maybe Waste Management will want to move in

Time to move out of business unfriendly CA and save $$ in the process. A win–win situation. Who does not want to do it?

Perhaps it would be valuable asset at the dissolution? (Or is this part of the process?)
What if the new buyer wants it?
