This article is from April 05, so some may have already read. It’s long, but an interesting read because in some ways (not all), it mirrors the changes and upheaval happening at Wells.
An interesting tidbit is that one of our former Directors, Enrique Hernandez Jr, who was asked/forced to step down amid our scandals in 2018, is now under pressure to step down from the McDonald’s Board. He is facing questions about his ability to provide strong governance at McDonalds, as Wells as a failure to follow best practices in a bungled investigation regarding a scandal there. It begs the question, how do these guys keep traveling in the same circles?
