Looking to the Layoff forum to get thoughts on the All Hands Call this Thursday. Will JD come to the table with any actual legitimate information anyone gives two sh*** about - or is going to open with the same blasé BS as expected and then being 55 minutes worth of guest speakers? What say you!!

7am for guest speakers?! I’m so glad I did not wake up for this cr–p.
Just wait for the post–meeting email to watch the recording on Workvivo. SLT pushes this useless tool like it's Dogecoin. It's forced social interactions on a cr–––y corporate Facebook–like platform. I wonder if SLT has stock in Workvivo or is getting a kick back. You can't force culture on employees, especially with Workvivo.
Not going, and not listening to or watching replays. Why would I want to waste my time? In fact, I never will attend any of these useless all hands meetings!!!
@1zez agreed! A 7am call to listen to an athlete who sounded like she was half asleep?! Thank goodness for replays.
Yeah these meetings have become worthless. They should only have them if they have something important to say.....
Is this a normal meeting or is it a day–after meeting about the group leaving this week?
7 is ridiculous. I could understand if they alternated between morning and night but this is a big f– to both Beaverton and Shanghai
@khl YES!
I wonder if they will talk about the boycott in GC, say goodbye to our H2 targets.
7am is a perfect time to let the East Coast (10am) know their time has come.
@kh1...too funny. Glad I’m not the only one who cringes at the chat comments.
Now I’m going to be laughing when I see all the Hi from comments!
@kh1 cannot help but laugh, I feel the same way about the chat function. Some of our teammates are embarrassing – I still remember a number of people were asking “what’s ACG...?”
I won’t be joining it’s a waste of time and not worth my sleep. From the “behind the scenes of drakes music video” in the middle of CDA to Naomi Osaka’s blahness – waste of time. Poor JS who did a great presentation but fell on deaf ears.
@1cds: Right. A global meeting. Originating from WHQ.
Which by default means a certain percentage of people are going to have to watch the replay anyhow. And since that’s the case it makes sense to start the meeting at a time more appropriate to both the location where it’s being held and the location where most people will be watching it.
That location would be Beaverton, Oregon. And I agree with @kh1. 7:00AM is not an appropriate time.
@kh1: The key being "Global" meeting. Not everyone is on your U.S. time.
I don’t know about meeting content but I hope there’s a lot less of the chat function blowing up with “Hi from XXXXXXXXX”. Sorry, but I probably don’t know you and I definitely don’t care where you’re from.
99% of the rest of the chat comments add nothing but clutter that distracts from whoever is speaking.
On these group meetings Nike should disable the chat function altogether. Although it does serve one useful function: it publicly identifies which Nike employees are actually clueless enough to use a chat function on a call with thousands upon thousands of people.
The only thing more annoying than this chat function is the fact that this meeting and an increasing number of other meetings are starting at 7:00AM. How about if we all stop pretending that that is perfectly acceptable? Because it isn’t.
If I actually have to explain to you why 7:00AM meetings are unacceptable then you’re probably one of the people using the chat function in global meetings.
Curious to find out if there is an update on working from home / return to work.
I just love all the side comments
What a bunch of kiss as..s
