if DXC 'directed'' staff to return to their offices on a regular basis would this make a difference to you ?

When I talk to people in DXC they tell me that the lack of pay rises, promotions and the constant threat of WFR are all bad BUT they opportunity to work from home is what keeps them there.

Question is what would you do if there was a direction from management to return to the office and line managers were ordered to track compliance and building access logs and other snooping methods were employed to target non attenders?

Would this be a deal breaker for you and a reason to leave ? Do you think DXC could actually force a return to the office in large numbers?

If I was told to report into an office with no BIG pay increase , I'd quit on the Spot!

The OP must not actually work for dxc otherwise they'd know exactly what the strategy is and it's not about to change for a few years at the earliest. It's whatever the opposite of a secret is.

There are some strange obviously outsider posts on this board recently...

Here in NL we're not expected back in the office at all, also post covid. They say it's US policy that they are simply required to execute. They are currently bringing down available desks to around 80 desk for nearly 600 staff. If you really need to go to the office, you need to reserve a desk.

has been tried at least once in the pre-Covid days, didn't work as directive was largely ignored, and these days there is nowhere near enough real estate capacity to have all the staff in the office at the same time anyway - and numerous countries still have Covid restrictions on how many staff are allowed in offices and that's likely to be true for the rest of this year
