SMs are on conference calls 5 to 8 hours a week? They leave at 3pm on a Saturday to take one? That's the last day for weekly payroll, so how are they making up the hours at home? Are customers going to there house for service? Come on its in plain site please don't try and justify with excuses. You have it good, you should be a little bit more discreet when you leave . Plain and simple it is manipulation of payroll by people that should know better and lead by example..

Sms take calls from home on their days off and need to cut their hours with no ot available. So yeah leave early to make up their time makes sense. Also their mgt and don’t need to explain to you their time. They punch in and out as well!

Get rid of SMs and see how fast the place falls apart. GMs on calls trying to put out fires, DMs reading reports, and Ops & SMB pretending they matter. SS do the front line work but SMs drive this ship. If you have a bad one call HR whimp and they will shape up. You want to see the asylum go crazy then remove SMs. I promise your job life will get worse. We make this s▯▯t show run as smooth as chaos can. The last thing we need is less employees. You're either with us as we are with you or you are with the dynamic duo that broke VZW. Hug an SM because beside your mom they are the only one that cares.

But the bottom line is that the SMS are taking advantage and stealing company time and their Team knows about it! No a good managerial or leadership model. I bet you’re thinking about going to HR or the employee anonymous phone line ? No overtime excuse for SMS when the can’t do 40hrs per week. Pathetic and their teams are on to them!

You aren’t supposed to be marked for uia at 4 minutes, you have a 5 minute “grace window” and uia hits if you’re 6 mins + late. The only way they could have marked you at 4 was if it was a pattern but it sounds like you’re never late. Look up the attendance policy, they’re not in the right

1hvf+1aovKV74 I have started to log when the SMs go home early. I don't want to do this and because what happened to me the last 2 weeks made me realize what's going on . When driving to work ,there was road work and I arrived 4 minutes late. I called to tell them of this,( I'm never late) instead of giving any empathy, they took an hour of UIA time,no questions asked and in a confronary way. The hypocrisy of these SMs
I don't think it's happening in all locations, but it's more widespread than Everyone realizes. By the way a Sm left at 3pm yesterday, he left at 4 the other so how is he making up say 5 hours last week? The pay period ended yesterday (Saturday) ?

This seems legit. With everyone slated to be key holders. You don’t need 2 SM’s in the location. There was a time when another wireless company ran with a GM and all key holders. No SMS or support.

Our SM’s always leave early if they were the opening shift. Their reasoning is that they don’t get paid overtime. My response was “how could you when you don’t even work 40hrs a week?” I have a log of when they would come in late and leave early because i know they are fixing their time. All it would take is for someone to roll back the cameras. In a company like Verizon if someone wants to throw you under the bus it’s better if you’re not the only bump

Severance me tf out as a manager here honestly I could care less. T MO or any other retail location wll pick you up with competive pay. If your a good employee and a good leader don’t take it as your lose, Verizon isn’t the end of the world. As a SM I bust my a.. for my team, I sell with them, I win with them , fail with them and fight for them. Take the mentality elsewhere And who cares what logo you wear on your shirt. Verizon isn’t the same company it once was!

They have a $10B cost savings commitment to reach. They want everyone to be PT including SM's.

I don't wish a layoff for anyone ,However, if the actions of the 2 SMs at our location are an indication on their daily productivity of the majority of SMs then a shake up is in order. They both,if the opportunity arises leave early( manipulation of payroll ) For example I opened with one at 9am ,he leaves at 4 ,I leave at 6 ? So were is he making up those 2 hours, during the week, I don't see him workingpast his shift ever? If both ate working and the Gm is off the one that opened leaves any where from 2 o'clock to 430 they can't even wait till 5pm or their shift end.One has checked out and doesn't even " greet" customers anymorr,so the staff has to it even if involved with a customer. They both delegate everything combined with selfish attitude. I hope this is not prevalent in other locations. Good luck!

Just give all 40 hour people the same pandemic overstaffed/closed store option. Severance, Relo or WFH. Then all your corp objectives are solved.

yeah I know some managers are running scared. Verizon wants to out the higher paid reps and managers and any of the people that remember making actual money here so they can drive the wages down. these RIS scores have caused real issues with my finances at home. went from bringing 3k+ checks everymonth to max 600. I'd be better off selling shoes at this point.
