Meetings amongst managers for how to respond to customers abt the recent and trus post abt VZP & VZ Home

Management is clueless about how to respond to the customers after that amazing post someone posted on FB & Google is talking abt it too. In my opinion we should share it as much as possible. This is the golden time to do it. Even if we have to take help from Google or other social media platforms. Lets ALL get involved in it and pull the curtain from the corrupt practices happening here.

Our job is sales and good sales people understand what is happening here.

When you sell but you sell distrust to customers you are only hurting yourself and others.

People talk and now even more with the internet, online reviews, etc.

The point is that the company is making people do things that are unethical. Telling customers, you can only get this (like a promo) if you get this (like vz home).

Or telling reps, if they have TMP and upgrade to a iconic device, tell them for this new iphone 12 pro the insurance has to go up by $2.

That is not sales that is lies.

People are not making money because management is telling people to qoute new customers with everything. So why would some switch to Verizon if the bill jumps by $50-80? A good sales person gets they what they need, close the sale. Then sell add ons showing value. Verizon management is selling feet walking.

Pick a random Verizon store and read google and Yelp reviews. They only thing being sold is a bad reputation.

Yes in sales. Not the non-full disclosure business.

You do all realize we are in sales correct? Our job is to sell. Funny how now that you’re not getting paid what you used to you are all so gung h- to try and sc–w Verizon. Just keep in mind their are other positions within the company that are still selling. Your let’s sc–w the company is now also effecting your co-workers in other sales departments. Remember when landline went on strike and hurt our sales and paychecks because they were striking in front of stores? Well this is no different. We are now having to answer for everything being stirred up. I have no problem selling what’s on the table. Their is value in what is being sold. It’s called sales for a reason. So why you think it’s fun to sc–w Verizon you are also putting a target on your “brothers” who are just trying to make a living.

The made it so on the POS you have to scroll past every insurance option now before getting to decline. Same day the article came out. Issued a hot fix. LOL

Verizon is going to send out a selling with integrity email, but really the problem isn’t the reps at all. They will claim they don’t force reps to sell VZP only, but if you have a low VZP mix, you are a “one bar rep” and they will make your life miserable. The real issue is leadership pushing unreasonable and unrealistic goals while preaching a one team mentality. The two are incompatible.

Not sure if links are allowed here

I saw the article on my google cards. However it is spreading because yes, as other person said people are referencing it in stores and on the phones.

had a customer come in today asking specifically about the lower insurance option, the s–t eating grin on my face was massive. It's coming, people are seeing these posts somewhere about Verizon's sh—y business practices. just walking boxes till it's over.

Curious as to what they said. Was the call on how to address customer concerns? Was it to enforce a sell with integrity message? Did they address the 'only work on things that might not negatively affect the ratings'?
