I find it funny when I see people come to this site and respond to our complaints by saying that no one is forcing us to work here and that we need to get out of here.
C'mon, I'll definitely get out of here as soon as I get another job. I don't think complaining will change the situation here, but I love knowing what's going on behind the smoke and mirrors in this company. The mistakes and situations in which some of us find ourselves can help someone else when faced with similar problems.

I recently left the company, but drop by here occasionally just to see if the bad business practices are improving or not. When you spend as much time with a company as I spent with Verizon, I didn’t take leaving lightly. I miss all my team mates and my customers, but don’t regret leaving the company at all. I hope it gets better for everyone, and if it doesn’t happen soon, Verizon gets heavily exposed. Leadership is very aware of what was going on, but many are just yes men and women that don’t actually lead, they just regurgitate something someone else told them. I once overheard a GM being taught how to find the average of two numbers... so... that shows what intellect and experience are required to be a GM.
Anywho, companies all over the country are looking for good candidates like employees that have worked for Verizon. Keep your options open. It took a long time for me to accept Verizon was not the company I signed up with and that it was no longer in line with what I wanted for myself. Know your worth.
Hope I get caught and fired so I can sue the s–t out of them
Also if it wasn't for these boards you wouldn't know how nationwide the issues are and how the same complaints are coming from people on different sides of the country.
