Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

What’s going on at US Bank?

What’s with the hiring rampage? Are people dropping like flies cuz the place sucks?

Would any ex-TOS employee that now works for a moderately good company ever come back to USB? To be led in every possible direction at once, never appreciated, and RIF'D once they found an off-shore worker to take their place? That never happens. USB TOS past employees don't come back.

The TOS people that comment here about how great USB is, either belong to the useless middle management layer or never worked anywhere else. They don't know about the mess they work in daily. Ignorance is bliss. Enjoy your 50% bonus.

They realized too many people quitted / are quitting because of the bonus fiasco. So they need to fill up, only to layoff 50% of those new hires in October.
Short term thinking = short term results.
I got a call from a recruiter asking if I would go to US Bank at a role in TOS. I laughed in his face and stated that I would never ever work again in a toxic environment like US Bank. Rot in h–l, Cecere, Levang and her minions.

All banks are going through digital transformation, getting rid of old wood and bringing in new wood to enable new paradigms, new processes of banking. If anything, US Bank is not firing enough of the old wood and not hiring enough of the new wood - the real problem.
