Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Every day I care less and less

REP for many years (almost 10), I made good money up until last 2 years and I am good at my job.

However now you threaten us if we talk about a survey that effects our pay?

You want us to push some sh—yprotection plan and not talk about lower cost options?

I may be alone but I think all this anti-union bu—twas HR on here.

I get retail is struggling to stay afloat but this company doesn't give 2 sh–sabout its retail employees.

I remember when this company cared about its employees, that ended about 5 years ago.

I’ve said it so many times to other reps and upper leadership. I am not quiet about it, but you want me to sell sell sell and once I hit my quota you want to keep more money and pay me less?? Um I thought this is a SALES position and I’m suppose to be paid on the SALES I do. So if I’m SELLING then don’t you think you should pay me??? Verizon has gotten so out of whack with its values and they don’t give a fu–k about any of them. It’s all a fasad and Hans and the BOD is not only stealing from its customers but now they have figured out how to steal from its employees....

I recently left after 7 years. It was such a relief. Leadership genuinely seemed surprised I resigned, like they had not been a part of the conversation for the last 5 years. It broke my heart to accept it was time to go and start planning accordingly. While they were taking advantage of me I was paying off debt and preparing to change my life.

No one deserves to be abused by customers and the company they work for. Know your worth.
