Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

WE NEED UNIONS

Look at how many class action law suits Verizon is going through, it’s clear now more than ever. The union would 100% protect us better than this corporation that is pushing its employees out of the door. Upper management has a super elitist attitude, and what’s in our best interest doesn’t matter to them. This is a dangerous company with managers to distracted by their own reflection to give a s**t.

Honestly if you do your research and are and educated functioning human. Union makes total sense. I mean just breaking it down most basically. All giant companies care about is profit and the biggest sink is employees and pay roll. They avidly want to bend the employees over and take as much as they can while giving as little as possible. Unions protect the people.

Unions should be abolished. They are nothing but organized cri.e syndicates. Public employee unions are destroying this country.

And one merely needs to go to the AT&T layoff site to see how worthless the CWA is.

If Unions are that BAD, then why does “AT&T” our biggest competitor, still has it? They “INFACT” just signed an awesome 4 year contract AGAIN btw, while VZW was trying to put dust in our eyes to sway us away from reality talking nonsense abt Unions. Be aware folks, Hans’s pets are on the board. Also to add some truth to the matter Verizon’s Wireline workers who are actually unionized, won a contract back in 2016 & LoMac back then had to nod his head to it. Don’t believe it? Well, its on Youtube. Amazon workers are also at the verge of unionizing as well. Now, watch this post & this comment get disliked Immediately. What else do u expect from a shady & corrupt company like Verlieson.

Do need a union. Agreed. The unions don't have a good strategy on how to get into stores deep enough though. Never have. Posting on boards haven't done c––p for them. Need to be more strategic and targeted. Don't be so general. Its okay to go after one store at a time. They need to dig in on pi–––d off veteran employees who have influence. Just because it's an in doesn't mean it's the right in. They need to have a voice or it's a waste of time.

You mean protect you like the union "protected" the Brooklyn employees. 3/6 stores closed. Employees fired for violating the code. Same comp and benefit changes as you. Same job changes and layoffs. Your definition of protection is a bit odd.
