The union will not fix these problems. Finding a better job will. I work at Verizon Wireless as a Tech Support agent and having been doing this job for 9 years now. Each and every year this job just keeps getting worse and worse. We had 3 day repeat...and then 5 day repeat...and finally 7 day repeat. And on top of being expected to fix all the unfixable problems that require an IT ticket you expect me tell sell the customer these extremely complicated plans and promotions. On top of making the metrics more difficult you throw a bunch of other departments on my shoulders. You expect me to be telasales, winback, device trade in support and international tech support and g-dknows what else. For each extra role you gave me a cr—y1 hour training expecting me to perform the full functions of these departments without ANY EXTRA PAY. The company did well during covid and you show your appreciation to your frontline by cutting our bonus because we didn't sell enough roadside assistance. Yeah, unions are just fantastic. Tasks that could be wrapped up in minutes or hours, taking days or weeks. Someone already on site, sitting there staring at the 3-5 minutes of work they "could" do but can't do... because Union...

If Unions are that BAD, then why does “AT&T” our biggest competitor, still has it? They “INFACT” just signed an awesome 4 year contract AGAIN btw, while VZW was trying to put dust in our eyes to sway us away from reality talking nonsense abt Unions. Also to add some truth to the matter Verizon’s Wireline workers who are actually unionized, won a contract back in 2016 & LoMac back then had to nod his head to it. Don’t believe it?
