I was never as unhappy working at Oracle as I am right now. The company is changing every year and none of it is for the better. This used to be a job I enjoyed immensely but by now they managed to suck all the fun out of it. Nobody pays attention to talent, drive, and experience anymore. If you don't kiss some major a-syou're screwed. No promotions, no raises, no bonuses. I'm not sure for how much longer I'll be able to take this.

I felt the same way years ago and left to join a smaller Company. and another small company and then a bigger company who had management that was far worse yelling at you, using Profanity in one on ones (No clue about Oracle) and back it is a tough life out there The grass isn't always greener
If anything, at least there are a lot of us. Please just care about yourself and your family. I hate saying it, but take O for all you can. Even if it’s free time or running errands.
I got raise, bonus, RSU today so not you.
Tip for you: There’s a reason people refer to it as Ora-h–e.
Good advice. If you nothing, how unhappy will you be in a week, a month, another year?
If you don’t leave Oracle ASAP then you’re just a whiny loser.
I won't be that direct, but you have your destiny in your hands. get current in whatever you need, acquire new skills, even if you have to pay for it on your own and start looking to get out, NOW. I know, Inertia can take hold, but break lose of that and find something else. If you don't you have nobody but yourself to blame. Lots of people have done this, so can you. Start now, don't wait, start RIGHT NOW. Make a plan stick to it, don't waiver, don't delay. It is easier than you think.

Worse than ever
Fortunately the fix to your problem is straightforward. Quit the hand-wringing and leave oracle. I bet even you could do it
I have to force myself to get online everyday too. This is a dead end, I know it. Extra work, no pay raise in years. I’ll start trying to leave in December.
It used to be a fun role, but it is now something to dread!
