They’re doing a trial run in Arizona having Sm’s sell all day once a week. SMH....

I don't think SMs sit around all day at all but if they are going this, I bet they want to be like the wireless kiosks in costco. Their managers sell and get commission based on their own sales and not their employees (last I heard)

Well, I can’t speak for everybody but I’m an SM and I sell, manage the queue, report numbers, and take service customers and sling boxes ALL DAY LONG. Most days I don’t take a lunch and I manage to get my coachings in as well. I’m overworked and so are all the other SM’s in my district. I know the POS system better than the reps. Now GM’s are a bit more elitist, but they’re on calls all day long. So I think the person who stated that SMS sit on their b–t all day is misinformed.

A major abuse to Ss in stores is the constant Muzak music being played on the overhead speakers everyday. It’s the same 10 songs ( approximately 10 to 15 if you work 8 hours you here the same every day hour.please turn it off or change the program just saying

I don’t think this will happen in most areas of the country because you would have to wake up too many SM s from their daily slumber and they would have too return to work after being found out they left early.

I've tricked about 3 people since this trash rolled out. Once a month I'll add it to a quote and gloss over it. My manager tells me to do it that way as no one would otherwise see the value of $50 home electronic insurance

Anyone trick someone into signing up for VZ Home yet? Hopefully they don't call the police on you for Pyramid or Ponzi schemes.

I’m an SM and I sell with my reps all day. If they all have customers and my GM is here I’m also with a customer. If there are two SMs I’m also with a customer. If it’s just me and we are slammed I at the very least take the small mundane service stuff and continue to greet ppl and just ask for their name to get them in the queue and that way the reps can just call the customers name when they are up next. SMs sell all the time we are not all lazy managers sitting in the back. It’s so annoying reading that all SMs are useless because we are not.

I think all management should have to prove they can still sell the products and use the POS systems. Over the years, leadership has become so disconnected many probably couldn't do the jobs reps do. Just another way to trim the fat. It's about time the company started eyeing all levels of leadership to see what they are actually doing all day. A minimum wage employee can manage a queue, and that seems to be all that SM's do, at least where I am from.

Spoken to SM’s in my whole district and 90% and getting ready to leave and have already applied to new jobs. This is also true of more and more districts nearby. It’s spreading like wildfire.
