Anyone who has been with BN long enough knows that short-staffing, unfair hiring/promotion decisions, inconsistent hours, and part time pay for full time responsibilities are par for the course.
Please don't get yourselves fired, but there is momentum for workers rights. BN doesn't have nearly the legal or financial resources to intimidate and harass organizers the way Amazon does, and they have been able to work and move in Alabama of all places.
You have value. Your work has value. Your wages and conditions should reflect that. Booksellers deserve dignity.
