Part time positions scheme

So only 24 and 32 hour position are available. They can work you 39 hours if they choose, a week, every week. BUTTT if they do, you only get commission based off your 32 or 24 hours plus if you are 24 hours you have to pay more for your benefits... How is that legal?

It's not Kool aid. I'm just one of the suckers that went for the part time. I'm all for exposing BS, but not false BS. Just make sure you have all of your facts straight. Otherwise, even if you have one part of your story that is completely inaccurate no one will believe or get behind the stuff that's true.

Please stop painting a better picture of this whole PT positions etc bcz they’re trying to run it like McDonalds, place ur order it’ll be ready at ur car in Verlieson’s language, ISPUs or nowadays called Curbside Pick Ups & if u don’t like the order blame it on the person who served u (whether its that individual’s fault or not), he/she will get fired if happens 3 times & the list goes on. Has anyone asked by HOW much the top exec level peoples’ salaries have gone UP by? Nobody pays a close attention to that but yes we should, to he-l with an employment at risk law. That’s how these bit corporations are building empires on our backs. We gotta fight back bcz we have been cheated & this whole lets say a trial method is copied from Amazon. Use em, they complain a bit, throw them. But we ain’t trash Big Greedy Red, we’re people please give every employee of yours a humane treatment & not just a few people at the top milking & creaming then top $$$$$$$ & telling everyone GoodBye , nice having to work with ya’ll!! Lets bring change in Verizon!!

That's not exactly how it works. Commission is tiered based on how many hours you work in the month. If you're part time and work over or even under those hours. Your commission adjusts according to the hours worked. So, if you're a 32 hour SS and you work over those hours in the month (it's about 36 per week) you get bumped to the 40 hour SS at risk. If you work under the hours threshold of the 32 hour at risk. Your commission would adjust down to the 24 hour at risk. Now, as far as the benefits part. Idk. The part about commission is all in those commission documents they make us read and sign. Anyone can read it.

Only people that apply will be 20 year olds that won't show up half the time and won't care about the job, who else would want to do this cr-p for 12 or 13 an hour and deal with the cr-p.

Yup happening all over the company with the part timers "needs of business" however everything you said is true about how the pay works. Plus the pay for new hires is pretty low as is. Look out full timers.
