These are the same people that thougt buying Yahoo, AOL, creating go90, thought was a good idea. What did you expect?

They knew all along who they were hiring. Remember Hans wasn't the CEO when he was brought in, but stepped up in that roll when McAdam left. Hans had the inside baseball of one of Verizons main vendor, Ericsson. He also probably had a lot of knowledge of what Ericssons competitors were doing too. The interesting part is while Hans was running Ericsson, many of the Ericsson layoffs were impacting Verizons build outs. There were many Tower Top radios Verizon needed badly but couldn't get because of the lack of Ericsson manpower. But even with that, it didn't make a difference. He was hired after he left Ericsson. And promoted. But dont blame him for the messes of acquiring AOL, yahoo, and the Go90 mess. It wasn't him!
