You will see a training program starting in June to help transition and "up skill" retail employees so that you can find other jobs within Verizon as well as prepare you for other external jobs. It was created to offer hope and keep people motivated and obedient. It's mostly for show so that we can point to it in the media when we transition. Buckle up.

I can't fill a GM position with a good candidate to save my life internally. Been a DM for over 10 years. Never saw cr-p like this.
Sm’s and GM’s are dropping like flies and we have no good candidates to fill those spots. Their is no good pipeline of employees who want to move up and work hard. Speaking with my reps about being an SM or even GM and the first thing they all said was “he-l no”. Adding that the job is way more stressful and commissions isnt any better. To which I say I totally agree.
We already have been doing this since last April
