Understaffed, and WAY TOO MUCH MIDDLE MANAGEMENT (at Corp)

Multiple bosses who delight in pushing the work down three/four layers to us workers who are doing three people’s job to the point where none of our jobs even resemble what we signed up for. Get rid of the multiple management layers hire a few more people who actually do the work and you will have a better more efficient company.

Yes, HR stop hiring people with job descriptions which look nothing like the actual job and work managers ask you to do.

Take a look at the homes these executives live in. Nothing less than $1 million.

I hope the ceo is reading this. It is crucial that the non-value add layers are removed. I layer of middle management could fund a significant number of people to do the work. Count he layers from yourself to your sales people, if you have more than 5/6 it will be too many. I count 11 layers.

You are dead on it. Why do we need 3 Group Executive's for a down sized
Company and all the regionals? A waist of payroll when you can’t staff a store.

Sycamore always does this. Wait till they start closing more stores and selling assets.

When Sycamore took over at corporate 5 yrs ago, they promised to remove layers of management. We were told we would own our own areas and be nimble, able to make decisions and move quickly to keep up with the market. They fired lots of management, then replaced them and ADDED 2-3 additional layers of management and non-sense opinion on top of it. We could get nothing done, all those layers of management did not agree on a course of action, causing those of us that actually did the work to redo it over, and over, and over, and over again, stuck in an endless cycle. Then they wanted to know why we could not meet delivery dates, and blamed those hard workers for their mistakes....all the while promoting their pompous as--s!
