If you were closed on Sundays, you wont be anymore. All stores going to 10 to 8 shifts and 11 to 5 on Sundays. This will be nationwide

Weird how this is just now being talked about.. my region has been on this schedule since roughly the beginning of the year. We were told months ago it was going to be uniform 10 to 8 Monday through Saturday and 11 to 5 on Sunday. I'm in the southeast.
Guess it hadn't gone nationwide yet. Either way, it is true. A lot of people through fits when we started this because some stores were closing at 7 before covid and got extended an hour.
I think it might be true. My manager didn’t say anything. But my friend called me asking about it. His Manager told him. And he said the same exact thing, nation wide 10-8 open Sundays regardless of hours pre COVID. I hope it’s not true! Crazy, something is up and I think it’s not going to be good. We haven’t been coming out on the positive side of most of these changes. So why not?
My boss hasn’t confirmed anything lately, but she did warn us about this a few months ago. Interesting point about matching indirect hours. They also have the same manager/key holders structure that we are switching to. Maybe the rumors of turning their direct channel over to indirect is true?
10-8 are most indirect hours. Look it up. Getting uniform ready.
We have reduced hours till 6 cause staffing and people being sick with covid. When we were open to the last 1 hour or 30mins, we would have two people. Like what can you do with two people anyways. Plus no one wants to stay late or try harder on team pay checks. Free extra hour of pay to tell people sorry, come back tomorrow unless it's something quick like a charger or quick emergency upgrade. If you aren't actively looking out, start. They are obviously making the job such sh-t that the people that take it have two choices, Verizon or flipping burgers.
My manager told me the same thing. Nationwide 10-8. But due to staffing some stores might be delayed. I spoke to one of my friends that works out side my district and he didn’t know about it. So it sounds like not everyone is telling their employees. Good chance if your store is closing early and is fully staffed it’s changing in the first phase. Nothing to do about it. Just take it. Less employees longer hours. Another great example of how they truly feel about us. We are the expendables.
Confirmed 100% true nationwide. May happen in phases but it’s true. Again another example of taking something positive for the store employees and messing it up. Only weirdos and shop lifters come in after 7. My manager said we might have to be stuck with only 2 employees after 7 since we don’t have the same staff as we used to. And they don’t care about our safety. So stupid, it’s probably going to cost more to stay open then it’s worth. Corporate has no idea what it’s truly like in the stores.
Who cares. Stores still blow. Get your stuff for pennies on the dollar at Amazon.com without all the slam fest con artist BS and wasting your time waiting in line.
I don't think so. Maybe like some locations but like paired up stores will prob still just be one open.
we shall see
You know I'd like to believe this however we can't even keep the stores staffed properly to keep them open till 7:00 and lots of stores still have reduced hours, so while I could see this being true I don't think it's probably nationwide.
