I wonder if my manager is going to skip performance reviews all together to once again stiff the whole team for raises? Wonder if our HBIC is gonna say “raises are on Oracle not the GBU” with her fake skin. Company can’t even do cost of living raises cause they’re so damn cheap. Hahahahhaha. I'd bet your whole team is never stiffed, even though you may be told that.
Look for the guys/gals who hang on the manager's every words. They are in the meetings but they never get assigned any work. Those are the people given credit for what you are doing and taking the bonuses and raises for them and the manager.
I can’t lie. I wouldn’t ask my mgmt for a cup of water if I was on fire. They’re all rats and they know it. I can’t make excuses for them. Bad haircuts and tons of Botox.
IF you can't get a salary increase, demand RSU (restricted stock units), they will dole them out as "escrow", paid quarterly and X amount for up to 5 years. Real salary increase is harder to achieve, when you hear there is no budget, etc. Demand stock.

If you think you should get 10% raise and didn’t get it, just cut down your working hours by 10%
how much are your rsus up? There is an initiative to align comp with rsus, similar to what amazon does
Our raises go to the upgrade of LE's island in Hawaii and other houses in Malibu. Besides, he also has to give his SVPs, VPs and Directors the raises.

Who cares what they call it. If a company isn’t interested in ensuring that their pay structure is not too far under the average for the industry, then they are not a good place to work.

I believe in "you get what you pay for". Each year of no raise means my productivity goes down by the same amount. Unfortunately, the customer has to feel the pain too.
I know they don’t. You only get promoted or raises when you get down to say a prayer before them. My mgmt is subhuman sc-m. I don’t expect anything from them.
