Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Talent acquisition is now Token acquisition

Our leadership is completely brain dead. They are all con artist. Funny how many of them bought stocks in early March then dumped them a few days ago. I refuse to virtue signal and cheerlead with the id--ts. If That man-child mouthpiece gets approved for a $40million separation package, i believe we should unionize just to make them shuffle and do some work.

As the OP, and in response to the ATT comparison, I worked at ATT for several years. I understand the Union fees. I just think it’s time to rattle up Verizon’s leadership. As socialist as they are, you’d think they’d welcome it. The reason they don’t is because it would negatively affect their bottom line. I would gladly pay a small union fee just to make them change their stay at home underwear

Ask all the people that don't work for ATT anymore what the union did for them. I know people that work at ATT and they have the same issues we do. Stores close, commission is going down and the union can do nothing about numbers or quotas. Talk to the people at our stores in New York that have to do all the same things we do and still pay union dues, and they cannot get hired anywhere else in the company because they are union.

Unions will get nowhere. Not worth the money and time. Unions just take in the cash and make it look like they are doing something. Complete waste. If they were so great, then why isn’t every industry in one.
