Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Are surveys really anonymous??

We're gonna find out, I just threw it all out there, I'm sick of being treated as a POS because I work in retail. This used to be a job that I enjoyed, I was proud to work for this company, but slowly over the last several years stress has gone way up and my paycheck has gone down. The company keeps asking us to do these surveys, but has anyone truly seen any change come about?? Things just seem to get worse and worse, I dread going to work everyday, we are short staffed, usually one manager and 2, if we are lucky 3 reps working daily. There have been many days where we only had a manager and one rep. 2hr wait times are the norm, people that truly want to buy something leave, the only people that wait are the service customers, surveys are a joke, pretty much we all feel like the deck is stacked against us, even the kool aid drinkers are done. Managers are giving up, Sms are giving up and reps have had it. The people at the top have ki---d moral and nobody gives a cr-p about their job anymore, and don't get me started on the POS system and/or customer care.

Yea, hound you untill you do it, but then you answer honestly and speak your mind and then your marked and they will make you miserable just because you told the truth and the truth hurts!

So, everyday for the last 2 weeks, my manager asks “have you done the survey yet” yesterday he slipped up and asked, “ when are you going to do the pulse survey we’re almost at the deadline “ enough said.

Technically the disclaimer before the survey does say they are anonymous, unless the comments elude to something that would require attention from hr.

All reps at my store trashed the survey, so many people above dm level are useless and out of touch. It seems nobody can put a finger on what the he-l is happening, why are all these bad decisions being made and why aren't the people making them held accountable? Why are we held accountable for everything, but others don't have to answer for anything? We are supposed to be honest and say what we want, but if what we say on the survey doesn't tow the company line, they will be after you.

I asked this in my store and they told me that a third party company is the one that conducts the survey and reviews the results, then sends out a report based on what was found. I'm sure there are certain filters they go by.

Not trying to invalidate any points here, but if sales are walking due to queue and it's all bs, either skip the B's for sales or pass that BS to tech
