Of course they are. They probably make more and give their customers better service. The fulfillment side of Wells Fargo home lending is atrocious.

Why would a top mortgage producer want to work where support staff is getting laid off left and right? Not to mention Wells doesn't offer the best rates.

Those people live and die by referrals. They can control the customer experience during the approval process, but afterwards no. Poor servicing = no referrals and worse: People telling their friends NOT to work with Wells Fargo.

If they're that good they can work where customers are treated well even AFTER the loan closes.
