Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Changes after you left Fiserv?

I was very scared of the fresh start after many years at Fiserv, but I decided to give myself a new chance. I was in a dilemma, but things became unbearable here. I didn’t expect to find a much better option, but I wanted at least a little better atmosphere.

However, not only do I finally work in a better atmosphere, but I also got higher pay and better benefits. It is the management that makes the crucial difference, and it is not difficult to find a company in which the management has a better vision than the one at Fiserv.

I had the same experience. I took a pay cut to go to work for Fiserv, but figured my work would be compensated well(with increases). Five years later, I was doing the work of 2-3 former employees, and getting those whopping 1.2% raises.

Rather than get me some help, the best and brightest as Fiserv chose to send me packing with a lot of others....just as the pandemic hit, and the employment market nosedived. Thanks, guys!

Luckily, i had an emergency fund and the stimulus-aided unemployment compensation. I was only out of work for a couple months, but it was scary in the early days and weeks.

20% raise and outstanding benefits later, I look back and say that Fiserv actually did me a favor. I have yet to drop an "F" bo-b on a conference call out of utter frustration. Something that was pretty common when I worked there.
