The last couple years have been he-l here at this bank, worst experience in my life. My guess is i'll be putting in half the hours, make slightly less, but have a much better quality of life. From what i've read CS is getting that bank's act together, doing all the branded Woke moves. Yeah done with this place. It was great 10 years ago, but now its just a septic tank and the stress level is off the hook. Jamie will be gone soon and no doubt this place does a long crawl to the basement soon after.

WF person here. You will NOT be putting in half the hours you are now. Keep dreaming. We’re laying tens of thousands of people off so the workload just keeps getting larger and larger. He-l, the head of HR had to send out an email the other day acknowledging how overworked we all are and as a result, we should try to not send emails past 6pm our local time and if we do, mark it as “non-urgent” (unless it’s actually urgent and in that case, mark it urgent), try to limit the number of people in meetings, try not to schedule meetings on Friday afternoons, etc. All because we are so overloaded in meetings and BS that we have to spend our time evenings and weekends trying to get caught up on our actual work. I have not seen a thing get better since CS arrived. Instead, it’s gotten worse. People who have been here for decades are doing wherever they can to leave. People who have come here within the last year or so from other banks are appalled at how bad it is here compared to where they came from and they’re trying to go back to where they came from because the GRASS IS NOT GREENER HERE!
Wells fargo is a sh-t show. I turned down an offer that was a level above by salary and not title. People who have moved are calling how crqzy and unorganized it is over there. Sure you are the shiny new penny-and then they show real colors. Good luck! Some chase folks already there want to bolt!

Wells Fargo just laid me off and they're not stopping. Be careful. I knew CS was coming when I got hired and knew of his reputation but hoped for the best and was laid off a year later. Not any better but all the best to you.
