"Who's to blame for the decline in merchandise value ? Its not the customers. Why label them such as pig farmer. Sound like a bunch of spoiled rich kids in Jr. high."

"belk has gone from hand painted periwinkle tea cups to british flag chipped mugs this is a sad yet true story of belks fall from grace"

They did carry Royal Doulton up until 2008.

Hyacinth's hand-painted periwinkles originated from The Colclough China Co., later absorbed by Royal Doulton, and the pattern called Braganza was discontinued in 1992.

"Maybe so but Hog farmer is very rude."

Mr. Pelham was quite proud of his pigs. "Very good natured at heart. They're not 'pigs', you know? They're very clean beneath all that smell and dirt."

"All those pork chops."
"All that unsmoked streaky."
"Don't forget the cracklins. My old Auntie made crackin' cracklins."

Now, if you get that show reference, you are far from the gubbins!

The average income of a Belk shopper when I was a manager (granted this was back in 2012) was $39,000 per year.

While you’re not wrong, I think it’s a safe assumption that there are very few billionaires, hog farmers or not, out buying $3 made in China non-absorbent MSH towels at Belk.

Wow ! Sounds like a few of you are very uppity. Shame. Just be glad you have customers. When I worked there we were told never to judge people by their looks. THAT HOG FARMER just might have billions.

They do still have sippy cups like Elizabeth uses. She's always so nervous with the good china!

No, you may not order the Number 37 with crispy noodles and wonton soup. This is NOT the Chinese takeaway. Now, would you please clear this line as my husband will be expecting a very important business call from Mr. Frosticles, himself, on a matter of utmost importance that has nothing to do with cuisine of questionable preparation.

And, in future, I would appreciate your not tieing up this most distinguished line with your fantasies of culinary misadventures, as my slimline, digital, touch-tone telephone is reserved for executive conversations only!

Well, if that's the kind of language you're going to use, then same to you, and I hope yours falls off in the middle of your wonton soup!

[Rings off abruptly]

Riff-raff! Such a low class of wrong number for the most sought after Postal Code north of Cornwall.

Love it! In fact a man complained about me saying most of our customers appear to be from hog farms. Hey if the shoe fits , wear it!
