The Board of Directors of Verizon approved a $3 million bonus to the current head of Yahoo to assure that he remain in place for six months. Think of the absurdity of that number which works out be about $3 thousand per hour for a 40 hour week during that six month period.

Not including the 50% off employee phone program discount that we have to every employee of Yahoo and Aol. I’m sure they will get to keep that sadly. Such a waste.
The deal seems even more shady now. Some government watch dog group should look at this deal.
Not a bad payday for a dude who helped cut the value of his company in half.
