People seem to have given up all hope that some things will improve here. It’s very hard to work in such an environment where you think things can only get worse. The golden years will never return, but still, are there any optimists who believe that they will finally pull off some good business move and improve the morale in this company?

I’m hoping it gets better, I’m expecting it will get worse. That’s the Verizon way.
I have an interview for somewhere else on Friday. I don't want to leave Verizon, but cannot justify working here anymore. I love my team and the job. Since, I'm making around $15 - $20 per hour less Since "one team" I just can't afford it. It's not worth it anymore.
I'm hopeful because otherwise it would mean much more layoffs. I honestly am waiting to last long enough to payoff all of my loans and setting myself off well financially. The frequent cycles of layoffs over the years is super discouraging.
They could get rid of the denim for starters but they wont. We will look like trash collectors til we get forced out.
