Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Most people don't want to move to the USA, they love their country, just like you.

What you should really worry about is a day when people stop wanting to move here.

And FYI, Capitalism calls immigrants customers and employees.

I really worry about some of you folks. Be nice to each other.

Most countries you mentioned have people that would move to US in heartbeat of given the chance.

I have a dollar that says the folks saying "if you don't like it here move" are the same folks who tell immigrants to go home and fix their country before moving here.

@1hpx+1aDe7uEt when folks from other countries act on that sentiment and come to the US a number of Americans don't like it! Funny how that works! There's quite clearly benefit to the American worker by having rights..who knows maybe you are CS himself!

lol, capitalism works because it doesn't matter what a person's motivations are. Whether you're doing it for yourself, some kind of nebulous collective, for the flying spaghetti monster, or anything else. So long as individuals in the system are motivated by something, the population collectively will accomplish more than the same group operating in any other systems. It's been proven many many times. The simple fact is, most aren't motivated by collective success (just look around this place, it could be Exhibit A). If you want to get maximum production out of said folks, they have to be able to achieve individual success--however they define it. Without that you're wasting untapped potential.

Most are older countries and have learned the lesson that everyone is successful when it is about the we and not the me.

Unfortunately the ugly American has not learned this lesson, most of which control 70% or more of the wealth.

This comes from someone born and raised in the US who has learned some lessons more than most. Of course education is also something the elite here do not want because they like their sheep.

Those politicians also aren't burdened by an electorate that has been deluded into continually voting against their own self-interest.

Could it be because their politicians have common sense when it comes to labor laws/rights?

That's what I was thinking. You like it so much better somewhere else... move there!
