I've heard that after next round there will be -1 employee, my sources are very confident about numbers!

If you're going to lie, at least make it believable. When was the last time Cisco laid off 15,000 people

Judging by history, Cisco doesn't perform mass layoff's in Q4 following the earnings call. Those are typically reserved for Q1 following the Q4/FY-end earnings call.

If Q3's numbers aren't good, and it looks like Q4 isn't going to improve things, they'll do a small stealth LR and start planning the mass LR for Q1 by using Q4 to create the lists, determine how much the packages should be worth based on the number's they need to cut.

15,000 layoff would hurt Cisco's brand. Layoff 5,500 followed by batches of 500.

When is the date? After May earnings?

Don't count on the packages being what they have in the past.

Apple’s hiring. Cisco layoff package and higher paying job across the street sounds like a good plan to me.

Typical Information Technology CFO 2021 Thoughts:

No parts (memory, cpu shortages, etc) =

Another reason not to keep all these people on the books.

If a person was a good CFO, why would they NOT think this way in current 2021?

Agreed completely.

Have to look for it.

LR'd three years ago also.

Found a new challenging job where I am not a number.

Always Be Looking.

Do not get lulled into complacency.

I'm calling shenanigans. I think that's more than the number laid off last fall.

As someone who got laid off from cucksco 3 years ago, it's the best damn thing to happen to me. Granted I was unemployed for a while and things were starting to look grim, but it feels good to finally work for an employer that doesn't just treat you like a $ sign.
