Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

What will Q1 results bring us?

Do good results mean that we are safer and that there will be no layoffs, that we can relax? Will there be pay increases? Unfortunately, my opinion is that with good quarterly results we cannot be sure that there will be no layoffs, nor that we will get better benefits. I wouldn’t want to sound pessimistic, but I wouldn’t be much surprised if cuts followed so they could present a solid Q2 as well.

"all good performance driven companies have an obligation to ensure leadership (all people managers) is doing a good job coaching and developing talent. Also dealing with those who aren’t delivering at the standard of excellence we expect is Aldo the role of a good leader. "

Translation - we are preparing RIF candidate lists as we speak. People will be fired soon.

Well it looks like Mike Manos is stepping down and Frank's buddy Peter Cavicchia is going to step up as the CTO of Fiserv. Well I would consider your privacy gone, and would think that your would be out the door pretty quick if they bring in Palantir again.

No ‘cuts’ planned however all good performance driven companies have an obligation to ensure leadership (all people managers) is doing a good job coaching and developing talent. Also dealing with those who aren’t delivering at the standard of excellence we expect is Aldo the role of a good leader.
