450 level - contemplating offer

What's the salary range for this level in operations, graduating this year, this will be entry level for me and I'll work my way up. Great opportunity in this pandemic.

450 code get raises every year. The opportunity to advance is pretty good too. So far four promotions within four years as entry level. All had higher pay raises and didn't take away from the annual increase based on production.

Your health and sanity is valued more than the comp band of a 450. I would run far far away.

Why would you want to come work for this corrupt bank?

Chances are if you're coming in at a job code 450 there will be no negotiating whatsoever. 450 is basically production staff level, non exempt without incentive of any kind. It will be a take it or leave it sadly. The poster that talked about no raise is accurate however. I haven't gotten one in 3 years and have an exceeds on every single annual review - currently I am a 601.

If you are entry level with no experience you are going to get a low-ball offer. Whatever they offer counter-offer at 15% higher and settle in the middle at 7-8% above their initial offer. Remember you have to negotiate now, because you are not likely to get a decent raise once you have the job. Been with the company for many years and most years the raise I get is non-existent, or below the rate of inflation.
