Our store has No visual and no LP and has not for a while. Is that position gone for good

I’m a visual at a small store. I get anywhere from 11-20 hours a week typically, until they want to cram in a bunch of visual stuff around a visit or holiday. It’s honestly been kind of a nightmare. There’s no room to store visual. My room is overflowing with mannequins, posters, and decor etc. They send way too much s–t that we don’t have room for. I end up throwing half of it out (even if I’m not supposed to) because there’s just no room for extra. Seems like a massive waste of money. All of our visual stuff is hanging by a thread. Half of what I have to work with is junk and falling apart or looks rough. I have to improvise 9 time out of 10 to set any displays. They want me to cram in full time work during a 4 hour shift. Feels like you can never get ahead.
They waited too late, to clean, organize, update store, and do visual merchandising.
Now corporate decides to visit,...
SMH🤨
I work at a smaller store and I was full-time visual but got cut to part-time right before shutdown last year. Since reopening, my managers still consider me visual but we get no visual hours and I spend most of my time doing sale set, truck, and merchandising. Then our RVP comes through and wants mannequins updated and elevated visual elements. 😳
