Optimizing workflows

There is so much work that needs to be done and I am failing to improve my productivity. Every day I am on the verge of a burnout and the amount of work is becoming less and less manageable.
Does anyone have any good advice on how to effectively optimize workflow? At this pace I am afraid I will not be able to endure working for another month.

It depends on what’s involved in your work. Ask your manager to pair you with an experienced peer who is doing well with his/her workflows so that person can give you suggestions and best practices that are specific to your role. It’s harder now that we are virtual, but shadowing that person to observe him or her performing the tasks can also be helpful.

Oldest tasks first. Tackle each slowly and with care. Ask for help amd don’t be afraid to tell your “leads or supervisor” what your workloads are. They should not be comparing your work to others. Trust me. They don’t have all the facts about every piece of work. Just broad deceitful metrics amd baselines. Don’t stress. Just do your best.

You chose the wrong place to ask for constructive advice. On this site, the response to any question on any topic is “State Farm s—s I hate Tipsord everybody but me is incompetent why doesn’t one of you start a Union for me?”

Managers and Supervisors or leads are NOT doing the job or providing you what you need and support

Nor are they offering to chip in and do work to help. They need to go if they are just paper pushers for HR. This is not business and they need to step up. Not micromanage.

All the Deloitte amd local “MBA” swamp need to get with reality

Your health and welfare means nothing to their machine. Come to grips with that and see the light.
