In our area (texas) and I'm sure all other areas stores are constantly fudging numbers. They are using In store pickup for upgrades when the customer is in the store to gain a huge bump in their ARD and pull through as well as new line to upgrade ratio. Our store has not been doing this. According to the new retail contribution standards that puts us in the bottom 50% and with a chance of being coached out for numbers. Im sure there are other stores that would jump on this class action. There is plenty of evidence all over peak that shows exactly what stores are doing this. How can you possibly coach reps and managers out that refuse to take part in this fraud? Has anyone else been seeing this or been told to sell this way? Hoping to shed some light on this subject.

Remember when we had to sign every customer in on their “my Verizon”? Even if it was an accessory... There has always been something dumb we had to do but it never lasts forever
Don't you get it? You think you are playing the system but the truth is, the system is playing you. How long do you think your store will stay open if all you sell are accessories?
The point of the OP is you won't have a job unless you decide to play along and fraud the numbers to keep up with the other stores. If you don't it puts you in the bottom 50%. Think of how this all affects the customer experience. No wonder t-mobile is kicking our butts.

Our store has been doing this since , sept 2020. It’s annoying when you have to tell customers to do it online. It’s also annoying when you turn down a customer telling them it’s cheaper to process the upgrade online .
Nothing new here. Verlieson stores been slamming trash since the dawn of time. Under the Verlison logo it should say: Home of The Slammer

At the end of the day it is a number and all numbers can be gamed.
We are told to run any and all upgrades if possible thru ISPU. Sell raw ard with it after the fact.
This does a few things.
It pushes your digital mix number higher (which the company wants)
It also removes any extra devices that may hurt your ard, pull through, tmp, all metrics.
No one is doing any kind of fraud.
We're just playing the game we're told to play.
Until they change the rules of the game again.
Yeah in the west we talk about and measure ard with ispu. No idea how doing all ups in the app helps anything besides ard.

In my territory we measure ard with ISPU. That’s what we are coached on. Not traditional peak ARD
The problem is there is a new to renew ratio attached to the “ Team Commission “ if the store does more renews(like the old days of let’s do as many upgrades as possible) to hit your renew quota . There is no renewal quota anymore. Thus, the more you do it will hurt your team numbers! Especially, naked in upgrades with no Insurance! It will hurt the rep. I agree. I Don’t understand how they preach to us on selling with integrity but we are at the door helping customers do ISPU on their phone while allowing any new lines just to walk In the store. Also how is it that stores have more new than upgrades for the month . That’s a good indicator that stores are doing this. Also no way now a days ARD can be $130+. Also we took trainings on not doing re rates because it’s unethical but that’s what people are doing now to get VZHP . No one actually wants that garbage.
