Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

The sacrifice company

All these regular HPE layoffs are like ancient civilizations human sacrifices for a good harvest. HPE does the yearly layoff sacrifice to appease their gods Revenus and Profitus.

Yes, that’s it! Keeping the powerful in power and everyone else in check! Thanks for a thoughtful response.

The Woodlands may work for some folks as a desirable location but it is no different in many aspects than Houston its Neighbor to the South. Plus the Woodlands and Spring, Tx. like Houston is very flood prone is located there is Sprink Creek which is designed to flood as Bayous in this region are prone to. Sping Creek is a much bigger channel than Cypress Creek which Flooded the HPI/HPE Houstopn Site 3 times over the past 10 years. A Drain is a Drain is a Drain.......company wise.

Well in the context of post below. Knowing the who, what, where, why, and how of recommendations on whether (Short Term HPE Employees) should stay in the Woodlands or not Hoop De Do (who really cares). Plus the complex is located in SPRING TEXAS which has nothing to do with the Woodland.

Now to something of more importance on the why the HPE Sacrifices need to continue.

The ancients could k–l you in a million different ways and give you a million different reasons why it needed to be done. In much of the pre-modern world, ritual sacrifice was framed as necessary for the good of the society at large — the only way to guarantee, say, a plentiful harvest or success in war.

But the priests and rulers who sanctioned such k–lings may have had another motive, a new study suggests. An analysis of more than seven dozen Austronesian cultures revealed that the practice of human sacrifices tended to make societies increasingly less egalitarian and eventually gave rise to strict, inherited class systems. In other words, ritual k–lings helped keep the powerful in power and everyone else in check.
