Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

“We will need to be a very different company”

I apologize if this topic has already been posted, but I just found out about this forum. I am interested in what it actually means for us employees when the CEO recently stated in the media that Mondelez will soon need to be something different, a modernized food company. At the same time, he announced major changes. I’m interested in what is meant by that?

From what I've heard, most other places are the warehouse model, not DSD.

Folks. There is so much more to Mondelez than DSD in the USA. Do you folks even realize MDLZ exists outside the U.S. ?

Pretty sure the changes happening April 4th is phase 1.

Maybe next go around merchandisers will be handling "C" stores, in addition to the "D" stores they will be taking over in April?

Then they can phase out sales reps, and have low payed, no company car pseudo reps.
