There's a lot of re-orgs going on in Independent Testing. Heard there were some meetings tomorrow, anyone know if it's layoffs or any insight into this area?

We have Orma, Tisrm, an ETV. Did I miss any other Second line(s)?
What’s the difference between this group and COSO?
Here’s he way that Charlie does it... the 10 managers that no longer have reports now have “unofficial leadership roles”. Soon they will have the “opportunity” to apply for and reinterview for their Jobs. If they are still wanted they will be offered a job at a lower pay. Because they “reapplied” for their jobs, if they turn down the lower pay offer then they will be deemed to be resigning, so there is no severance.
It’s kind of devilish, but only one of the many Charlie displacement fetishes in the playbook.
A lot of these new executives are useless...and cost a lot of people’s jobs.
IT&V are useless? Really, have you taken a look at the Control Executive organization? How about making the first line own their own risk and getting rid of those glorified data entry positions that wouldn't know a control if it hit them in the face? Every other FI has second line compliance testing, I assure you. What they don't have is these CE middle men that don't do anything.
WF needs to remove these positions and depend on IA to do their job. Give the business back accountability. 1000s of wasted resources that no other FI has anymore.
Wonderful. IT&V are absolutely fckng useless
so there are 10 managers that not longer have reports.. seems this is to push them to leave without "layoffs"
so as we see today.. no manager layoffs.. but you see several managers now have no direct reports.. those manager will be either let go or moved to officer role in coming weeks.. lots still to happen
yes.. spans and layers look like they are happening tomorrow.. as well as alot of moving around being announced.. from what ive heard no layoffs for employees but possible for managers..
